Given what I'd heard the show was, I wasn't too keen to give this show a chance at first. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool trekker, so hearing this was a joke on Star Trek, was at first off putting to me. However, sitting down to watch it, it's not a regrettable experience and a fun fictional universe to get to know. The only thing I'm not big on with it, is crude humor but that doesn't dominate it's tone at all.
