The old set had archaic and ugly menus with only 2 episodes per disc, making the set 24 discs, which is really bigger than it has to be which makes the set take much longer to ship... the new set has more updated menus and is 12 discs:

Season 1: 3 discs, 4 episodes per disc
Season 2: 6 discs, 4 episodes in 5 discs, 3 in 6th disc
Season 3: 3 discs, 5 episodes per disc

Quality is maintained. Please understand this set was originally unwatchable... with screen tearing, blackouts, commercials, etc... it's still not amazing, and is priced accordingly, but it is watchable.
